I wasn’t a christian my entire life, and i have definitely made mistakes in the past that I wish i could take back. Even after accepting Christ, I played the whole “im going to be a christian but still do what i want” card for a long time. I was in a very un-pure relationship for a long time. And only recently have i seen how much damage it can truly take. I am a normal person with desires just like everyone else. I’ve made mistakes just like everyone. That great thing about having jesus on my team is that he forgives me, takes away my shame, and continues to love on me no matter how many times i have failed him.

It seems like you are just fighting to find things wrong with what I said when it clearly needs to be read in context. In the context I was speaking in, it is very true that lots of girls try to get attention from guys through things like sex to feel wanted. It is PROVEN. You can’t really argue with that because whether a person is willing to openly admit it, that is why girls hook up with random guys. The fact you brought up you having sex with your boyfriend is irrelevant since i never said anything about having sex with your boyfriend. and i never once said sex cant be wild, crazy, and fun. and i certainly never said it cant be beautiful. why are you telling me to not judge the experience before iv tried it? i could say the same to you in the context of you staying pure until marriage. dont judge that till you’ve tried it. but i wont say that, because i dont automatically think that people who aren’t like me are judging me. and who are you to assume i’ve never tried it? ahhhhh, its dumb to read into arguments and fight to find faults that arent really there when im only expressing my opinion. im probably the least judgmental christian you will ever meet. no judgement here, if you want to have sex with you boyfriend, that is your personal choice. it doesn’t make you any less of a person in my eyes. and nor should it in anyone else’s.

Thank you! That really means a lot to me. I definitely respect your views. It takes a lot of courage to put your faith into something you cant see, like Jesus. And i completely understand that some people just dont believe for whatever personal reason. I wish all christians felt the same way i do as well. Truth is, people you come in contact with who aren’t open to other peoples beliefs, and people who judge others by their life styles, aren’t christians at all. they are simply people who claim the name of the lord and give him a bad name. it saddens me to see that “christians” act that way sometimes. because honestly, the god i love, worship, and serve is NOT a judgemental God in anyway shape or form. people just get that impression from people who claim to be christians. and i know that is why most people are turned off toward christianity. thats why i dont believe in “religion”, i believe in jesus. and “christians” who claim the name but are complete hypocrites are ruining the chances of people experiencing ever lasting life and happiness through Jesus. and definitely you would still deal with everyday struggles of life. i struggle EVERY single day with the same issues people who arent christians struggle with. i am constantly worried what people think about me and i am constantly striving for acceptance from those around me. i lose loved ones, i deal with rude people, i have low self esteem. sometimes i just want to give up. but knowing i have jesus helps a million times over and over, and knowing that some day i will be able to rest in a place where there are NO STRUGGLES, pain, hurt, shame, judgement, makes my life that much better. my reward for loving jesus will come the day i die when i can finally be in that place, heaven.

I don't, nor have I ever, had sex with random guys or do hard drugs, I don't dress like I shop at baby gap. I have a great boyfriend who will do anything for me, a crazy family that I love, and the best friends I could ask for!
Then you have been very blessed! Not everyone can be so lucky. but yes, i truely believe that jesus is the ONLY thing that can fill every void. Whether or not you see it now, someday you won’t have those things. People don’t live forever, and relationships with people don’t last forever. Let’s say, however, that you live your entire life 100% happy just as you are now. When you die, you are going to lose every single thing you gained on this earth. Your relationships, your material things, family, everything will be lost. You don’t take anything with you when you die, so whether or not you personally need jesus to fufill things while on this, the bigger question is what do you think happens when you die? You can’t take any of this happiness you have stored up on earth with you. So what do you believe happens? (and i wasnt saying that everyone has sex with random guys or does hard core to fill voids. just an example because i can say that i know the majority of people do do that to fill voids. maybe not those specific things, but people do things to fill voids that cant be filled by anything but jesus)
